2016 venture reverse

2016 venture TF . Why doesn't want to engage in reverse every time ? 1/2 the time i have to go forward a little bit and then it will engage in reverse and i can back up .

Very annoying when the sled is on my trailer !!

Common especially when the sled is new and the chain is tight. It'll get better once you get more miles on the sled. I would just blip the throttle while holding the brake on....usually all it takes.
