So as the thread title states, my 2016 isn't running right. I just replaced the battery (put the new one on the tender for 24+ hours to make sure it was charged). Fired up right away, idles nice, but dies as soon as you give it any gas. Whether its slowly creeping the gas up or trying to hit the gas a little harder, it just coughs out.

I did notice the "Oil" light on the gauge cluster light up after the 4th/5th time it stalled out, but nothing before then. It will start right up after dying with zero issue.

Any thoughts/ideas?

Check your TPS readings should be 0 and 90-100% with bars in all positions. if not at 0 adjust throttle play at coupling ziptied to riser. Should be able to fit a credit card in between lever at any point with just a light touch of throttle minimum.

Had the same problem with my sled. I took the throttle pin out, removed the throttle and cleaned up the pin. There was some rust on the pin and think it was setting off the tps.

Got her going. Called my dealer in the morning and got some advice. It was related to the TPS pin - some moisture had gotten in and frozen the little switch in there. Put the heat gun to the assembly where the hinge for the throttle lever is, low and slow for 15 minutes or so to dry it out, and boom - away she goes. Got 100ish km on her yesterday, beauty of a day. Man I love this sled.

Excellent glad to hear you got her going. Love mine too. Happy riding.
