170 HP and 1.75 track on trails? I hate those things...I run a groomer and one of these sleds does more damage to a freshly groomed trail than 5 regular sleds, we have a guy around here that likes to get out on his mountain sled and make first tracks...right down the middle and 4-5" deep ruts 100 yards long coming out of every corner...not to mention the foot and a half piles left behind for the next guy to ride over...if I had my way they wouldn't be allowed on trails, keep them in the Pow.
Not trying to hyjack a thread just pointing out a problem.

That has nothing to do with the sled but the stupid f... that drives the sled. I have to drive on some trails to get up on the mountain, i do drive fast/hard but i newer damage the trails. its all about how we use the thumb:) i also hate it when someone has made a big pile in the middle of the trail but i see just as many short sleds with trail-tracks that do big damage to the trail as others. Why don't you and fellow sleders take a hard talk with him, maybe take him along when you run the groomer, maybe he will understand what he does then.

X2

It is true that any sled in the wrong hands does damage to the trail and in fairness the chump around here has a 800 smoker. Getting sick of the guys that like to fill the roadways at every road crossing too...WTF! We could start a whole new thread for that...someone did make a good point about how power is applied...us 4strokers do know how to roll on the power.
