Will it happen???

:hide::die:die

Couple more days and I'll be snow checking the blue and white one!! Comes with the new yxz100r :yam:

My thought was that a new Phazer should have the 600 four cylinder engine from an R6 bike, but that's probably just a dream that will never come true. Interesting bit of paneling on the sled in the picture above, it actually looks pretty slick. All except for the "Honda" seat! I'm not sure how they'd make room for the clutches under those panels either, but with a bit of redesign, it certainly could be done. I'm just going to keep on dreaming for now!

I just liked the fact that someone photoshopped using a phazer xtx chassis.
R6 engine would be the ultimate. No more body English, just use the happy stick to steer with the track!!

Nothing but a twin is going to have the lightness of a Phazer feel, the only 4 stroke with less weight is the 600 ace currently and maybe the Cat with the 65hp Kymco. Only way to get lighter with more HP is a BIG twin. Any triple or four would require replacing cheap steel chassis compents with expensive aluminum or magnesium which defeats the purpose of a "value" or "entry" level sled. Sadly I think we will see lower output triple in the Vipercross 2.0 chassis which will replace the Phazer. I'd love to see a 100hp twin and sub 475# and either a 600cc with gear reduction or a 850-ish 8800rpm twin could reach that. For Yamaha to build that there would be a need though and I haven't seen ANY sleds under 600cc lately on the trails unless it's an old trailing arm sled. Heck, out of 300+ sleds I seen yesterday I was the ONLY Phazer, seen quite a few Apex,Vector, Vipers along with 2 Polaris 660 turbos

Funny thing you mention both the Ace 600 and the Cat 3000 series; since I need to replace my Phazer and if Yamaha does not come out with something different I am snowchecking one of those 2.
I dont need more than 60hp, I need a low cost, reliability and respectable weight.
The Phazer engine in a Procross 2 would be perfect if its cheap enough.

I think one of the new ones will be a factory turbo 153 called the sidewinder. Aka viper.

Possible leak??

Maybe the top photo is Hondas crack at a snomobile. Didn't they make a concept snowmobile a number of years back?

That's a different looking secondary in that video. Almost looks like a factory roller secondary.

Up, I don't remember Honda trying to be honest.

Voda, I noticed that. 4pm can't come quick enough!!! Waiting to see what else.

I think they should do like other manufactures and allow different motors in the the same chassis. My aunty who's in late 70s or maybe 80 just got an apex for the way you sit on it. She don't like the more rider forward of the nytro or viper but she gets scared when the skis lift. She finally got away from Polaris just for the seating position. And I think if they had the tripple in it, she would really like the sled. She still has her 03 or 04 Polaris 500 classic with 16000 miles that she says is the most comfortable just not as reliable anymore and she hated the Polaris fst she had other then the fact it was a 4s. Thank god it finally blew up again and she got rid of it. Imo. If they offered same chassis with motor options they might get more people interested. I have another buddy who has about a dozen sleds for the family and the newest one is a 2000 500 but is in the same position. Wants a yammy always been a yammy guy. Loves the seating on a apex and vector. But an apex is to much machine for his kids or wife to drive and we both looked for a vector around here with no luck.
