2018 Apex

does anyone know how many of the 2018 Anniversary edition Apex's were built.

I am also looking for one, any Ideas ?

Craig’s list or snowmobile trader , I read on here last year that they were hard to come by so who knows you might get lucky.

Very rare, I'm guessing a couple hundred tops? Probably not many willing to give them up at this point. Love the pearl white and red in the sun. Good luck in your search.

Nobody bought one just 'cause they needed a new sled that year - they bought one because they had to have one. Best of luck though. I'd like to find one too but can't imagine anyone giving one up. I think the only way some would come to the used market is if Yamaha came out with an all new home grown sled everyone had to have.

I was thinking the same thing, Yamaha needed to make a major change before the 2018 comes up for sale.

I was joking with friends the other day, the 2018 Apex is like a unicorn = we all know they exist but no one has ever seen one.

A local dealer/owner still has one in the crate for himself. He says it will stay there. Not selling.

If the last digits on the VIN indicate how many were made, then there were at least over 300 made as mine is 343. I still own my 40th Anniversary 08 Apex LTX and like pdiddy mentioned, I just had to have the 50th Anniversary XTX as well; that and I wanted EPS. The 08 has over 15,000 miles and the 18 has over 6000 and also agree that Yamaha would need to make a major change to move on. Heck, the 18 isn't even broken in yet.

I agree they will be rare and VALUABLE
I have a white 13 XTX ~the ‘45th’ so I put an 18 windshield on it and have had guys stand around and look at it at bar/ Restaurants and discuss wether its an 18. The 18s/ 50th edition have red A-arms so my grey ones are a giveaway, for those who know, not to mention wrong rear suspension etc. but its fun just to see people take a ‘double take’. I did not want he MEGA shield with supports the guy before me had on it. Charley ‘SASQUATCH’ has that now, he says when its 30 below and your 6’5’’ its nice to be behind that shield.
