2018 best prices on sidewinder

All in . Both are included. This is from the owner...the girl didn't write it on the quote but owner gave me the all in price. I though I might have gotten a bit more on the trade but I think with the extras esp. studding I more than made it back. Glenn has been very fair on all purchases. He is also installing my heated gloves temp controller and my Garmin GPS he is taking off the trade in. I appreciate it because I am not handy at all with working on the sled. I love to work on them but with such a bad memory :) I can't remember how to put things back together lol. I admire all the guys on this site for the work they do. I'm going to try and do the ski's myself. It will be a bugger trying to get the sled in the van without skis if I have to take it to the dealer :)

Wondering who has been out shopping and what kind of deals you all are getting.

Once again it looks like Nelson's has some great pricing.

Rtx 5oth
$16,699 MSRP
$14,399 Selling for
(With all incentives in, BEFORE taxes)

Anyone else got some good pricing from other dealers?

Dan

I ended up searching around quite a bit in Ontario, Canada and found a new 2017 Sidewinder RTX SE for $13500 plus $500 pdi/freight CAN$ at one dealer as well as a new 2017 sidewinder LTX DX in black/red for $14500 CAN$ including freight and PDI! There are deals out there with the crappy winter we've had and excess leftover stock. I ended up going with the LTX DX as i like the red/black color scheme. I was planing on upgrading the shocks to AXIS all round so the suspension package doesn't matter to me. The tall windscreen is history as well :)...pick it up Tuesday and can't wait!

The extended warranty costs a fortune in Canada! I wish we could get the extra warranty length for $250 like you guys are getting in the US.

Just FYI Yamaha extended warranty is from Yamaha and has no deductible. You are thinking Cat or Doo which has their own warranty for one year and after that it is a outside company such as Cat Care and those require Deductible. Yamaha is the only company that insures themselves for extended warranty.
Wow, this is great!....The dealer told me there was a 50 deduct per incident, and I asked specifically if it was same as BRP BEST plan and he said yes they are all same with deduct. I will check into this deeper now, as the 50 deduct is a nice bonus if that is not needed for YES.

thanks bud

Not sure about SW...but I did talk to a cat dealer yesterday on our way to the show....and Got a price just for comparison.

2018 137'' RR
-17600 cad
-- 2yr warranty only and all incentives in. (obviously pre-taxes)

I would assume Yam dealers can do same, as the RR is actually a tad higher MSRP then SW LE in Canada.

Now throw in a strong USD exchange rate, and this sled is VERY CHEAP for me(13,500USD only)

Hey guys, just joined the site. Currently ride a 2007 Apex GT. But last night I snowchecked my new 2018 Sidewinder RTX LE 129 50th anniversary edition. I'm pretty excited!! Hope I'm gonna like it?? I loved my Apex..it was a bulletproof SOB LOL!! It was quick and fast. Hoping the new sidewinder is going to live up to the billing??

I'm from CT, but buying my 18 in Caribou, ME. I do my riding in Northern Aroostook County, so decided to purchase it there at GARY'S Yamaha.

Being Im an out of state resident, I won't be paying any sales tax(saving a nice chunk there). Dealer took the promotional 600 dollars of the sled, and then took an additional 400 dollars off, to make an even 1000 dollars off. And upped the 3yr warranty to 5 year warranty for no cost. I was happy with that deal. Also going to hold it for me until December 26th, and have it ready for pick up/delivery as I pass through on my first trip the day after Xmas...very convenient and hassle free for me in that regard.

Been hearing that the 129 transfers better than the 137, is that true?? And coming off a 121 shorty...129 will seem long to me. And to be honest, I didn't want the 137 anyway. I liked the all blue..but couldn't get it for 18 in a 129. So went with the 50th anniversary red white and black...hope it looks as nice in person as it does on line??

Anyway, great to be aboard the site..ready to learn all I can.
John's a good guy ....I've bought several sleds from him

Yes...seems super nice, and really took time to explain everything in detail. I felt very comfortable dealing with him..and was happy that I decided to go with him.

17000 cdn even 18 rtx-le blue sky marine.
Ok So that price is not the total actually.........(freight/PDI added below for total selling price)

Spoke with them and the price is still very good though(2nd best price i found today)

RTX 50th
17,670 cad All incentives in (Pre tax/license obviously)

Ok so Im doing my due diligence today....Many dealers out there are much higher then others. Im now currently shopping Ontario(Canada) where I ride, so these are all CAD. My USD goes so much further here for sure. A few phone calls can save you 2k Im finding.

I will say that ONE DEALER blows away all others by a fair amount. More on this below.

One dealer I would NOT BUY FROM is Dewildt Yammie on Hwy 400, they are not even trying to get buyers, and actually selling for full MSRP PLUS freight/pdi and I hate when dealers give price then add things afterwards under their breath, just give me the bottom line price please.....and these are the kinds of dealers that wonder why people shop around. Who wants to pay 2000 MORE dollars for same sled?

After a few dealers around 18,900 down to 18,100.... and even a $19,399 MSRP plus freight/pdi to total 19,999!!! at Dewildt(pre tax)....The previous lowest of 17,670 cad from BlueSky was best....

Not even my local dealer up north here was very good, Bracebridge Yammie would been nice to buy from as I like Dan the head tech there, but the pricing was not good at all.

I made the call to a great dealership I have often wanted to work with. Carlson Sports in North bay. I was sure to ask him if its OK for me to post his price, he said SURE.

So Aaron up there at Carlson Sports gave me this price:

RTX 50th (MSRP 19,399cad)
-$17,398 All incentives IN (Pre-Tax/License)

($2001 dollars OFF MSRP)

I don't see any other dealers even coming close, and he assured me he is still making a profit, while other dealers today on phone lied to me telling me they are below their cost at a much higher pricing...lol

Thanks Aaron for being open/honest with your aggressive pricing. I hope you get some more buyers!

Kijiji is full of leftover 2017s, lots of adds with 0% over 5 years.
Yes the current promo on 17s is 0% financing, so any dealer gets that deal.

Problem is, you will never find an LE Model with good shocks leftover.

I did check out a deal on a 129" rtx SE 2017....And i Added the qs3r shocks front to back, and was given a credit for stock SE shocks....that sled came to 16,196 before taxes. So while that is a nice price, you must remember its a yr old already, and not a 50th or even an LE, but an SE with LE shocks, so resale wont be near as good....But 16,196 is nothing to sneeze at for a bottom line price with best shocks. Give Aaron a call if you like this 2017 deal. Great guy.

Hey Dan

Im surprised your looking at a 129? Are you not thinking about a Huricane or TD flash too? This is my second 137 and really like the length.

Great prices and thanks for sharing.
