LTX LE 17 &18 both show 8.9galI noticed the fuel capacity in the specs has changed from the 17s to the 18s Is this a different tank or are they just reporting capacity differently

I think their website people just have butterfingers.
look at the 2018 XTX SE specs. it shows a 10.9 gallon tank

Yamaha must measure the fuel capacity unburped.
I have put 10.2 gallons in my sled when I ran out of fuel with a good burping.

Le and se have 8.9 gallon /33.6 liters. The xtx and some other models have 37litre tank

I agree even the dealer told me that the tank will hold 10 gallons. If you burp it, it will hold more.

That's what i was told as well Dan, 3 yrs total with an extra 2 yrs on the cheap. $600 yamaha bucks, which i was quoted off the sticker. And a gear bag and hat.
I got a quote just north of $15K on the LTX LE 50th just for asking so I'm thinking out the door prices will be mid to high $14K range.

Id be happy with some changes in the clutch spec, or whatever is causing the issues.
