The airboxes are the same thing from 2014 to 2020. There wasn't any design changes made to them. Alot of people think its an all new design but I've owned a 2014 viper and now a 2019 ZR with the updated ergos which is the same new ergos on the 2020 vipers and I took both airboxes apart and they are the same thing so if you're looking to update your older sled with a new airbox off a new 2019 or 20 thinking it will add something to it, save your time and money.

They have an updated part number on the top section of the air box for the 2014 which crosses over to the new top half but the baffle plate, snorkel, intake opening, frog skin etc are identical so whatever the subtle change they made to update it isn’t for a performance boost and certainly isn’t to relocate the intake area to the front hood vents like rumors have said. Trust me when I tell you, they are one in the same so the 2020 box has all the pros and cons the 2014 had. Still sucks hot air off the bottom of the bulkhead except the new ergos don’t have a frog skin vent in the nose to help with cold air ingestion but the sled still runs and feels as good or better than the 14 did with the new updated ecu. I geared mine up to 21/41 and have been playing with clutching so it’s running and feels as good or a little better than the 14 viper did with a similar clutch setup so I’m not too worried about the frog skin vent missing in the nose on the new ergos.
