2020 Viper studding. And Airbox mod

looking to stud my 2020 viper. Been reading a ton of info on hear. Woodys recommends 1325 studs. What i am on the fence with is 96 studs or 144. I am looking at 4 studs ( double backers only ) every other lug down the middle. I made my own pattern on paper, I come up with 20 scratch lines. I am on the trail 90% of my riding. Has anyone else run this pattern and how did you like it?

Second question,
With the 2020 I've read that doing the airbox mod would be running the sled too lean. Anyone have a 2020 viper running the airbox mod? And is there any issues. I am looking at a MBRP trail can to run on the sled as well with the Big Venom clutch kit. I've heard this really works well together. Thoughts?

An airbox mod alone should be ok, but if you do that plus the can it might be lean. I did the free airbox mod and it's great.

I would like to add the can so maybe I will leave the Airbox alone for now. I wonder if I added a different programmer if that would help as well. I see they have a few out there for the Viper. Anyone have one and what are your thoughts on them. Good/Bad no change?
 
I run 120 studs on 137 inch tracks. 3,2,per block.I also use only single backers because you can get more scratch lines that way. I had a 14 viper with 7,000 miles on it and never had a tear out or bent stud. I did the same on my 19 RR 8000 with 1,1oo miles and they still look new. The airbox on my 2014 I put schmidt bros airbox breathers in and it worked well with the MBRP Trail can without a fuel controller. The next season I added a complete exhaust and then had the EVO flash done. (i know they dont do that anymore). Travis at BOP may be able to find one if you add more mods in the future.Once you start the mods,you will get the power bug and keep adding! The plug in controller may be needed if you do the complete airbox mod because that lets in more air than just the breathers. Better safe than sorry I always say!
 
135 studs in my 129 track. Three per bar. Singles using a Woody's pattern. 1.52" on a 1.25" track.

The airbox and can mod together used to be safe without need for fuel adjustment for the early Vipers from what I researched but my '18 and up seem to run much leaner. As Cannon mentioned a Power Commander 5 with map in it would be perfect (if someone has built a map for your exact year, model and mods.)

What studs are you using that are 1.52. Woody's has a 1.450 or recommended 1.325. I iknow the total length of the 1.325 is about 1.7ish. But they measure from the top of the backer to the tip of the stud. They show a 3/8 penitration with those studs.

Sorry yah I forgot to mention that. I actually went with Extreme Max studs to try them and to keep the $ down because I already had put iGrips in the lugs (which I didn't find had enough grip for me on the windsweep lakes I have around me). For an NA application with the mods you have planned I would think the Woody's 1.450 would be the way to go.

I was trying to find out the exact difference in the 1.325 and the 1.450. It doesn't seem like to much. Maybe a 1/8th inch or so. Which I don't think is enough to harm me in any way. With your 1.52's how much over the lug do you have?
 
The Extreme 1.52's have a total length of 1.830" so it looks like they are comparible to the Woody's 1.450 series which is 1.852" long. Should be 0.4" or so over the lug.

The Woody's 1.325 series as you state is 1.730" long so only a 0.122" (1/8") difference.

Why everyone uses different naming of there studs is a mystery to me. LOL
