The latest rumor on the interwebs is that Textron is finalizing the deal to sell Cat to Argo. A bunch of former Cat people ended up there after Textron did a management reshuffle.

A lot of Cat people did move to Argo, not sure off hand but I think Hisun is the company that is producing Argo's ATV's, what would we call a winder then..... Windgo

Is Argo the conglomerate that owns McCormick tractors, Landini (who made many Massey Ferguson tractors) ?
Just curious...Macfaddens is near me, they sell McCormick and Landinis...see where Im going with this...and they are heavily involved in the local club...nah...never happen...no such luck.

where did you read that? Interesting....just the sled division? Would Textron keep the dirt side? Would they buy the plant also? Was the price mentioned?
After some research I guess I didn't realize Argo had grown into the company it is now. They have their own dirt division and wouldn't need the Cat side of that. Maybe they want what's left of the dealer network also?

Amongst all of the product lines, Arctic Cat really sticks out like a sore thumb for textron. Actually the whole "industrial" segment sticks out. Everything else is government and aviation sales.
