Lots of armchair tuner here.
The max spool lean tune isn't that lean that's because he has the fuel pump upgrade. It runs similar air fuel as a regular max spool 17.
And no it ain't too lean at all, it's perfectly fine.
Aa soon as boost ramps up a bit it richens up.
The td tunes are extremely reliable.

23.6!!! That's better than 600 etec, it's about time someone made a tune that haul's #*$&@ when on the throttle and get awesome fuel economy when just leisurely cruising.
Can you share some details like year and model of sled, track studded?, Power and tunning mods, clutching etc...

Is the leaner map an option on your bundle or do you need to request it?Lots of armchair tuner here.

yep, ran these tunes with the same a/f , sled ran great all season , over 2000 miles recorded with many wot at 12.3 - 12.5 a/f on 94 0ctane with zero knock , td fuel pump and fuel reg is a great tuning asset to adjust the a/f , with the combo of a td header at 18 psi boost was beating up on guys running 20 psi no header other tunersLots of armchair tuner here.

Our header makes huge power gains for sure. Let alone the TD stage 6 that's just stupid fast on pump. Max 17 feels like 22psi on a regular setup. W

If you have a td fuel pump upgrade you have two options for max spool 17 a rich version for super high flow setups.. Or max spool 17 lean for optimal air fuel for the average high flow setup. Is the leaner map an option on your bundle or do you need to request it?
The lean map is safe for almost every combo. For those running a side exit and ram air it's best to run the rich version as those mods increase hp quite à bit

Most Canadians don't use MPG they typically use liters/100km for measuring fuel economy.
This looks very high due to this. Convert it to US Gallons and its inline with most tuned winders when run these speeds on firm trails.
Great MPG though for sure.

sorry dan, i didn't want to use litres per kms because i didn't know if people south of the border would know what the heck i was talking about. i think most tunes would get you US 15mpg not 19.65mpg. BIG difference in fuel economy. i could get 290km's to a 34litre tank with maxspool 17 lean. Other tunes were lucky to get me 200-230km's depending on the quality of gas. Most Canadians don't use MPG they typically use liters/100km for measuring fuel economy.

I recently ran the canyon and I used 28 litres on 155kms with maxspool 16

I'm not suggesting it isn't possible, but that is astounding.74Nitro you need to reveal what your running for clutching, exaust etc wasnt too long ago people didnt believe Speed Kuvaz was reporting either but guess what!!!!!! HAPPENED LOL
I'd b very tempted myself to bump up to those settings and mods.
Recently a friend on an apex said to me "how can u have so much power and not use more fuel than me?"
It's even more sweet when riding with etecs and get better mileage while blowing their doors off.

Will Hurricane have something down the road to help get better mileage?
I run 240r 270r and 300r tunes and the best I have seen is 106 miles per tank
Sure is fun playing with those 850’s on the trail and lake till I have to fill up and they use less fuel
Than me. After they get there little chuckle in I then ask how much oil they have used.
I get more smiles/mile than them every time riding my Winder

ya, i've rode with some guys with the hurricane tunes, they run rich. tuners prefer to run rich vs lean. i keep an eye on my a/f gauge all the time. if anything looks out of place a back off the throttle. i've run boosted sleds for 7 yrs now, never blown one up yet. cruising a/f at 13-14 is normal, not lean. WOT she'd blow apart, but 12.2-12.5 you'll be ok.Will Hurricane have something down the road to help get better mileage?
