I have been using TD MS16 stock muffler tune with Dalton adjustable weight trail riding for several years now and quite happy with it. I am considering purchasing a new to me Sidewinder and curious if there have been some improvement over the past 3 or 5 years and recommendations on the tune for the new rig.

I want to keep Stock muffler and do 100% groomed trail riding.
1.) trail ride with pump gas 91 or so octane
2.) okay to update BOV
3.) okay to update Map sensor
4.) okay to get CAI
5.) okay to get clutch kit.

Looks like MS 17 @290hp may work but not sure.

Been running ms17 tune for a few years now and really like it. I have all the items on yr list in addition to a 3” Sandale muffler. Not sure about stock muffler with that tune Maybe a mod stock muffler would be necessary. I typically will run 93 pump gas but if I can only get 91 I will put a splash of boostain in

Ms17 needs a better flowing muffler. MS16 is the largest TD stock muffler tune.

My buddy recently used his TD Gap Flasher on my sled, after finding out that what he thought was TD MS16, was actually TD MS17 Lean, and sure enough I have the same. ( On his flasher it shows MS 17 Lean, 94 0ctane or 91 Octane with Torco! ) A call to TD has them saying yes same tune! So with stock muffler and 91 octane it's an MS16 3 bar tune, but once I add a High Flow Muffler and 94 octane it's MS 17 Lean 3 bar. is there a difference power wise? Yes for sure!

But yes with stock muffler, MS16 is still their highest HP stock muffler tune! TD MS 17 only requires 91 octane with a High Flow muffler.

I traded my 2022 LTX GT in at Lee's in Ellington Connecticut. I put the stock flash back in but if someone here purchased it, I could re-install the 225/240/270 Sm tune for them
