I currently have a 190 Hurricane turbo and was wondering who is running the 240? How much difference between the two? Traction an issue? Clutching? Does the decreased compression alter the throttle response or does the cam timing take care of that? I want to keep the low end "pop" that I currently have
I ride 99% groomed trails. Just trying to get some feedback before I drop another 2 grand on this kit.

How did you like your 190 kit? What did you do for clutching?

cam timing takes care of it. you would have more low end response than you have now, no downsides.

I have the 240 kit and what suburban mentioned above is absolutely correct. I changed my gearing as well.

I have the 190 kit and it works awesome. Dave has a clutch set up for his turbo kits that I am told works well. I used Ulmer's kit because I already had it and Allen told me how to set it up for the Hurricane turbo.

I used my own clutching. I really liked the 190 kit--no complaints. Its maybe a little loud at @20-25 MPH and on road crossings/parking lot areas but not too bad.
Are you guys running the stock tracks? I am thinking about the cobra track, maybe the one with the studs built in.
It's hard to believe but you get addicted to the power and want more.

How much longer does it take to install this 240 kit.

Dave's 240 kit rocks. Throttle response is unreal this is a very good trail setup. well worth 2 grand.

Replace Valve springs. or bad stuff happens over time.
I mean stiffer springs more boost, means more spring pressure.
You smart guys will love this but 1 to 2 lbs boost means 1 to 2 lbs more spring pressure. On the seat.
I would recommend anyone boosting to get stiffer springs. For cheap insurance.

The install time is about a day to install the 240hp kit.You will need to install a head shim and for that we rotate the engine forward to gain access to the chain tensioner
Any sales or specials this summer on the 240 kit?
