Hey all. Just turned 3000 miles on my '12 apex standard. The ONLY thing I have done to this awesome machine is an oil change at 800 miles and that's it! I have greased it yearly also. Other than changing the oil and chain case lube, what else should I do this fall?
Hyfax are duponts and still look brand new. What bearings should I change or should I? What should I do? Thanks for the help!!

Here's what I do before I put them away for the season:
-clean the clutches
-repack the drive shaft and jack shaft bearing
-check/adjust chain tension
-repack/replace idler wheel bearings
-grease suspension
-change oil & chain case
-stabilize fuel - seafoam
-clean & polish to your hearts content

X3...do it this spring as water sitting in worn oil is not good. I also fill the tank with seafoam for stabilizer.

I like dropping the skid and checking/changing the bushings out for new ones along with everything Kaz mentioned. You would be surprised at how worn out(thin) they get. My feeling is, we ride these things long and fast. Might as well be sure everything is pristine.
