Have a chance to buy a brand new set of 7.5" Studboy Shaper bars for my 2011 FX Nytro real cheap. Thoughts? Have the stock carbides on currently and looking for an upgrade for this season. Any info on the Shaper bars would help as to whether they are worth a #*$&@ on the Nytros or not. Thanks guys!

I ran 7.5" shapers on my 08 RTX but used them with C&As...worked fine.

I'd put my money into Studboy deuce bars for the OEM skis instead of shapers. I think the deuce bars work well with the stock skis. I now run the 6" shapers on Curve skis with a 128" Ice Attack track and the setup seems to work well.

Alright, thanks guys! At the price I can buy them for, might give them a whirl and see how they handle. If not, deuce bars are next experiment!
I have ran just one deuce bar on one side and a shaper on the other. A pair of duece bars are hard turning at the handle bars.

I've run 7.5 shapers for two years on Slydogs. Always holds the line and never washes out cornering. Rock solid. My only complaint is they make the steering too heavy at low speeds, so I dropped to 6 inch shapers this year. Curious to see if there is any big differences between them, but the 7.5's are very good.

Nothing you'll really notice...I did the same thing as I was having trouble finding 7.5" shapers last year. Despite what any chick will tell ya, 1.5" shorter in length isn't going to change much

I ran 6" shapers on my slydogs for my attack and love it!
