Just wondering if anyone is running the new 8" ski from SlyDog? I have a set for my Nytro sitting in the shop right now, I also have a set of 7", comparing the two is very interesting as the keel is wider with the 8" and also the ski is shorter in the front and longer in the rear, the carbide mount is dead on with the 7" as far as spindle location. There is also a outer keel twards the front and no center keel at the tip, I hope these things work even better!!

Interesting looking ski...with the subtle changes, are the new skis any stiffer?

THose look wicked!
A few of us have the powderhounds in our group and the only problem we have is fitting the sleds on the trailer. The wide front ends and wide skis make things tough. I imagine the 8s would be a real problem for us.
