8 tooth extroverts on phazer

I put 8 tooth extroverts on my phazer and they hit the tips of the rails. Has anyone eles had this problem? What can i do, except take the extroverts off?

how badly are they hitting? if it's not too much i'd almost coincider shaving them down a bit?
