Guys my 2006 APEX still has the original battery thanks to the OPTIMATE CHARGER I use during the off season!
Well the charger now says the battery is bad ...RED light so time to replace.
Pretty good to have a battery last that long and always start, of course some would say it doesn't get cold in Minnesota!

Mine is still the original battery..never even used a tender and it still cranks it fine.
Though I have not fired it yet this summer.
I'll prolly change it just because.

You may want to upgrade now to the YTX20H-BS which will fit perfectly with the original foam spacers removed. The polarity is correct. The bracket and cover do not need to be modified. This battery has 310 CCA compared to the original battery which has 200 CCA. It is a few more pounds but the extra CCA is worth it IMO.

That big battery is what the old rx1's used. For whatever reason in my rx1 at the time only lasted 3 seasons. my 07 apex still has the origonal.

5 years on my Warrior battery and I put in a new one just cause. I took the old one and put it in my spare sled when I sold it as the battery in it was done. Guy is still running it and has no issues with it. That would make it 9 years old now.
First time my Apex doesn't start the larger battery is going in but for now the stocker works fine even at -40!
