Hi everyone. My wife rides a 95 polaris 500 efi sks. I installed a battery guage on it and it intermittenly goes over 16 volts. It has no issues and if the guage wasn't on it I wouldn't have noticed it. I am worried about cooking the computer. It has a no longer available acs switch which is a rectifier and voltage rectifier and sends a signal to the computer to turn on. There is 5 wires to this switch, 3 from the stator, 1 to the batt., 1 to the computer. Can I wire the stator wires together and run them to a voltage regulator then run it to a rectifier and then to the battery? I was going to hook the computer to the key switch. Is this possible to do? Thanks everyone. :die
