My 99 SX700 run and starts great and the plugs start fouling shortly after riding...
I did add an Ultra Q silencer and have not rejetted which I thought you wouldn't have to
but come to think of it the sled didn't foul plugs before the change.
Any thoughts thx

need to check the choke plunger caps, they are plastic and break sometimes...... also if your stator is going out may be an issue..... worn reeds?? I don't think just changing the silencer would cause your issue......

Thx for the help..the reeds have been replaced and are good along with new spark plug caps and have tried different plugs ''heat ranges'' BUT have not looked at the choke plungers...that I'll heck out asap. Other then that the sleds bone stock so the choke sounds like it may need some att. thanksneed to check the choke plunger caps, they are plastic and break sometimes...... also if your stator is going out may be an issue..... worn reeds?? Found the problem it was the main jets ...the 1st and 3rd cylinders were flip flopped...all this time that was it..attention to detail..embarrassingThx for the help..the reeds have been replaced and are good along with new spark plug caps and have tried different plugs ''heat ranges'' BUT have not looked at the choke plungers...that I'll heck out asap.
