A Arm Question (with Pic)

I hope I am in the right forum and forgive me that I don't know much about snowobiles, yet.
Im about to buy my friends sled for a pretty good price, this is what I am most worried about. The red arrow is pointing at what appears to be a disolved bushing along with a slightly bent bolt. Could that entire bolt(above the purple line) along with the bushing be replaced, or is their something more to it. On the other side of the sled the bushing is in pretty good shape and the bolt was tighter (less threads showing). Any input would be appreciated

Yes,i saw this problem on my sled the bushing was worn and the bolt got loose ( up-down ) and the bolt bent.

Suggest you replace all front bushing with Ulmer brass bushing and solve the problem...and get new bolt.

I think you should check the arms they may be bent .If you at your photo the top arm looks twisted or it could be the angle of the shot.I had the same problem and the bushings and arms were bent so I change them the sled felt the same as before so I still think I could have left the bent ones on and save some money. The bolts going through the spindle were bent on mine.You can measure on each side of sled to see if the arms are pushed back or just lift the front of the sled off the ground skies not touching anytihng and see if the skies are equal distance off the ground that's how I mine was bent one tip was about 2"-3" higher then the other.

X2 Yep it doesn't look to healthy!, something looks out of alignement...

Take a measuring tape and measure from top of spindle to rear centre axle and compare measurements of both sides for a quick check, both sides should be within 1/16" to 3/16" max.
