is it worth doing,not planning on playing in the hills,just want to do the loop,how nice is that trail,and will a vector do the round trip back to cochrane without refueling,i hear the gas is expensive up there,just wondering cuz were heading to cochrane in 2 weeks and would like to try that loop

its like 160 Ks up and about the same back down , you will need fuel , Cochrane side is awsome trail , coming back down the smooth rock is the longest power line I have ever rode in my life , groomed flat and awsome fast ,little boring after awhile , this is where some 2 strokers like to grenade
, usually tons of snow up there , they only take cash up there for gas

thanks MM,didnt think it was a 300 km trip,def need fuel,were doing a 7 day trip,gogama,timmins,cochrane for 2 nights,lasarre,ville marie on the quebec side,roughly 1200 km

cant beleive i've never done abitibi canyon,been to cochrane many times but towards kap-hearst,and i'm only 2 hours away

that canyon run is awesome! Talked with some guys today while out patrolling the trails and they said the snow up there is amazing this year, they were up there last weekend.
