Well we went riding up in Ely ,MN this weekend Trails were ok no dirt so that was good, Did alot of lake runnig. First the bad when we got up sat. mornig it was -15 deg f this was going to be the test my brother inlaw had his new Fst swichback on the trailer next to mine, both sleds made that bad Wer-wer wr sound then nothing. Not good but the two Vipers there did'nt get going without a fight either.
We put the charger on them for a wile and a shot of starting fluid and they fired up. The bad stops there! I had about 30 miles of srew around miles in the feild on this monster, but this was the true 1st trail ride.
This sled rocks the engine is adictive it keeps pulling and pulling, the dream-o-meeter had me at over 120mph I know I was not going this fast but at the rate I going by other sleds I know it was screeming. I love the Mono rear end on this seld but I am going to move the clip on the spring.
It eats up most of the crap on the trail, but does bottom out hard at times
No problems with darting at all, this is with the stock ski's and carbides I only got about 12Mpg but this is with a tight engine and alot of 80+ mph runnig so I am ok with that now, I hope this improves.
I could pull the fst start to finish, But i was impressed with that sled. It makes no noise at all pulls good but steers like a tank.
I also talked to a kid and looked at his old phazer 2 that had over 29,000 miles on it yes 29,000. Anyway I could not be any more happy with my attak. Now its time change the oil and transform her into the 144" animal!!!

How much snow is in the Ely area? Is it worth trailering up that way some weekend, or will more snow be needed to make for good riding? Need to try out my Apex!!

They are grooming , and I did'nt see much dirt. Everone needs snow, but I would go back in a heartbeet!! The lakes Are great good runnig. Good luck!!
