I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on a new sled, just have to decide if I'm going to do the deal on a new 2011 HCR the dealer has on the floor or get a 2013 Summit Sport for next winter.
My next question is what to do with the Nytro. My original plan had been to dump the SKS and keep the Nytro, but while the Nytro is a much better back-up sled it's not a great second sled to have as it doesn't like inexperienced, non-aggressive riders very much. It tends to overheat when driven too slowly, and it's really over kill to have as a second sled anyway.
What I guess I'll do is put them both for sale and see which one I get bites on first.
What do you guys think a 2009 Nytro XTX with 15,000kms is worth?

I want a full on mountain sled, not a crossover, and the Summit Etec is just a bit too pricey.
And if I could get close to $7000 for the Nytro I'd sell it for sure.

keep it , you will have something to ride when your new sled is in the shop for engine repair.

Cheaper to keep it ....
with 15,000 km its likely not worth $7,000 especially given the limited market size - you might have to let it go well below that if you want to move it - they are on the nlclassifieds for less with lower km.

Well, sleds in GB do command a bit of a premium, so I expect I'd get a few hundred more here than I would on the island.
In many ways I'm leaning towards keeping the Nytro as well, because it would be a much better back-up sled for me, and would be a great loaner if any of my friends come up for a visit. The problem is when the gf rides it she's not aggressive enough on it, and slow trail riding makes it run hot. I was wanting to keep it for her, but I don't know that it's a good sled for that, I think we'd be better off getting her a Venture Lite or Multipurpose.
Put some Water whetter in the sled, and some good scrathers, and it wil be just fine!!

You should take a serious look at the new 2013 Polaris pro RMK. Only 417 lbs!! And I think Polaris has really taken a turn for the better in the last 3 years.
According to a dealer of the Polarass, they are so light they are bending on small impacts, and are still having engine problems!

Naaaaaw, as said above RMK Assault any day over Ski Doo. Better value and better sled. And keep the XTX as the high miler sled and sell the SKS.

What's your point? You think you have the most bullet proof, trouble free sled ever, lol!? I doubt it. For the thousands sold you saw one still moving but having issues? Oh boy, call the president. I bet he loves it. All the guys in Snowest do.
