Adapting Stock Apex skis onto older SX-based Venture?

My buddies wife rides an older SX chassis Venture 500 or 600 that has the old steel "girder" skis with plastic bottoms. What would it take to adapt the stock skis I took off my new Attak? From what I can guess without having the Venture to look at, it seems to me that the bolt would be right, 10mm?, spacers would be needed because the Venture spindle is narrower than the new plastic ski saddle? My biggest unknown is the rubber bumper, since I think the old steel skis are much taller than the plastic ones.

Any comments would be appreciated.

should bolt on without mods.if anything you'll need to trim rubber bumper. i would use attak bumper.

That would be cool, as the Slydogs going on the Attak suposedly come with new rubbers.

i did it this year 2006 Apex skis to my 2000 Venture just use Apex rubbers and they bolt righ ton...Might want to shim ski if you want too but it's not needed....
