Broke mine while out for the last ride of the season. Rode 140 miles or trails, some groomed, some not, some quite choppy. Held up all day doing that, but going for breakfast the next morning, hit some bumps going past my buddy on his Crossfire and it bottomed, then almost kicked me over the bars, then started making a bunch of racket. pulled over and looked and there it was, the infamous broken link after 1270 miles! Took it to the dealer later that day and they said they should be able to get it updated under warranty. I'm sure hoping so and they are going to do all of the recalls and updates at the same time. Hope they come through for me. Bought my sled used with 50 miles, but they have been treating me pretty well. Might buy a Nytro XTX from them next year if the price is right. Saleman thinks the prices may come down some more yet.

if not call yamaha customer service I broke mine for the second time and they warrentied.
