Hey guys, just wondering what would be the best clutch kit and gear to add on a stock SRX to add a bit of top speed. 5 to 10 mph more.. im assuming 22/41 for gearing but don't know much about clutch kits. Thanks

Depending on what Yamaha is going to do for clutching (Yamaha claims they have a new clutch calibration for the 2019's).
If Yamaha is still using the same Yellow secondary spring....that spring will coil bind in the stock secondary. If it is the same Yamaha Yellow spring, here are your options....
1 - Order a orange secondary spring from Thunder Products. This spring works well with the stock setup currently and does not coil bind resulting in more top end.
2 - Order a complete clutch kit (I recommend Thunder Products kit) as if you ever decide to flash your sled for more HPR, the kit that Thunder Products sells will work in the SRX stock, with some mods such as exhaust or full out flashed with cold air intake, exhaust and flashed to 280 HPR. The key thing is the kit is adjustable. Results from the Thunder Products clutch kit are:
Increased fuel mileage. My sled, along with others have pulled almost 17mpg average on trail.
Increase in 0-60 times, 1/8th mile, 1/4 mile and top speeds in the high 120's
Super low engagement allows the sled to load on a trailer, pull up to a gas pump or cross highways without spinning the track. Crawls out of the deepest snow with ease.
The 22/41 gearing will give you a little more top end speed in the right conditions over 21/41 gearing.

Do some research. There are more options out there. I've tried most and am using all Dalton components now. Dalton weights are the easiest to adjust trailside however they don't have the range of adjustability that the others have. Examples are Thunder products heavy hitters, STM, Hurricane super tuners, OSP, and others.
Ulmer makes a good kit in various stages. I ran his stage 1 for 2017 year with great success, no blown belts and relatively cool clutches.
I personally did not have good luck with the Thunder products orange spring but others are using it with great results.
There are many options out there which properly setup will all work well.

There is a new helix and secondary spring in it. Looks like a pink apex spring not sure without removing and conparing. Helix now stamped 8kc70. Unsure of angle. I looked at the srx at a sneak peek event this last weekend. Then I ordered it lol...

Funny,i have the master repair book from Yamaha,and all this foolish book has on any clutch parts in the book,is the weight (ramp) at 8lr00 for all except the 162 sw10m62 sled and its P/N is 8kc00 as it must be lighter,as they show 4100 engagement with same gold red/gold primary spring. But they don't have any numbers listed on there 35 degree helix,that they had on 2017 all models.There is a new helix and secondary spring in it. Yes they do have a stamp on it,i have seen mine also,but I paid a lot for this book,and they are so vague on a lot of info,it kinda makes me sad,i bought this book. My old rx1 book from 2003 was awesome,and just full of so much info,it was great,but this little 156 page book,is not full of a lot of great info at all. Just my 2 cents.I'd have to look at my 17 again, if I remember correctly my helix was stamped 8kc50

I agree. They haven't released much info at all on any of it. Kinda like how there wasn't even a parts fiche or breakdown and almost no accessories available for a few years lol...

I highly recommend Dalton products also. I tried some other options and was not impressed. The sled is much happier now that I made the switch. Cool clutches, less belt dust, longer belt life.
Depending on what they do with the helix on the 19s you probably only need a set of QAY 66 or 70s depending on your future plans and the Black/Orange secondary spring. Change the primary spring based on desired engagement and be done with it.
People are putting in a reverse angle helix and claim it spools faster on a stock sled. I got one and it never got installed because i ended up flashing to a quick spool tune and didn't need it at that point.
If you want to go with TP I have the helix and the weights that I'd let go of for cheep. I was going to hold on to them for asphalt drag racing but that doesnt look likely. PM me if interested.

Okay, so i don't think ill be doing a reflash in the first 2 years for warranty reasons. Maybe in the future.. but for now id just like to gain 10 mph. Anything over 130 mph im happy and i dont want to blow belts. 22 gear for sure, as for clutch kits, im starting to lean towards dalton. You recommend QAY 66 with orange spring and thats it?

So im not planning to do a reflash anytime soon for warranty reasons. Maybe in the future, for now my goal is to get anything above 130 mph. Im starting to lean more towards Dalton, im hearing good things. Im not sure which clutch kit yet, which ever is going to give me more mid range and top end. Ill be adding 22 gear also.So you recommend QAY 66 and orange spring and that's it? Is it a good combo and is it good on belts?

My advice is to wait it out and ride it stock first. Let the guys who tinker figure out what changes were made and see what shakes out. They made changes to the clutches on the 19s and No one knows what those changes are yet. You might not have to do much of anything.
I put in a clutch kit on my 17' before I ever rode it and chased issues ever since. So have a few other guys. What we are finding out is the closer you get back to the stock helix and spring rates with a slightly more aggressive weight, the happier the clutching seems.
I think 130 is unrealistic without a tune unless you are running on an ice rink for a mile with a tail wind and higher gearing. It's crazy how much more HP is required to gain a few mph once you break into the 120s.
