Hey all... picked up an 07 Apex ER this Summer & a pair of GYT clickers from an 07 GT that are virtually new that will be going on the ER. I'm going to be sending the mono shock out for a revalve as I've read it is a significant improvement over stock valving, but I haven't read anything definitive on the GYT clickers as far as stock valving goes. Are the clickers adjustable enough that the stock valving is fine? What do you guys think - keep the clickers stock for my first season on the Apex and see how it goes, or revalve right away? Thanks for your opinions!
I guess it depends on how hard you ride. I would try them first. If you don't like them, you can tell the whoever is revalving them how you want them changed.

x2 I upgraded last year to GYTR Clickers and love them, tons of adjustement, I strickly ride GROOMED trails and HIGH speed and when the going gets rough I slow down, I don't do any crazy jumping or ditchbanging...I like to cruise lakes and railbeds...
put them on,lots of adjusting if you want to, jump, ride hard or just ride, great shocks!MrChetStuart said:Hey all... picked up an 07 Apex ER this Summer & a pair of GYT clickers from an 07 GT that are virtually new that will be going on the ER. No,they need to be revaled as well, the rebound adjust is a joke and the compression will only make matters worse unless you get the single stack that yamaha installed from the factory out of there and do a multie valve stack, ask the guy doing your rear shock,if he does not think you need to do the fronts, take it somewhere else, call mike carver!MrChetStuart said:Hey all... picked up an 07 Apex ER this Summer & a pair of GYT clickers from an 07 GT that are virtually new that will be going on the ER. Thanks for the feedback so far guys - any other opinions out there? I was leaning the direction of using the clickers with the stock setup anyway, and it looks like that's what the majority are suggesting... but any additional opinions are certainly appreciated.
