Have an 06 apex gt, think i went to stiff on the spring(6.5) and revalve(Pioneer), it rides stiff and that on softed EC setting, is this the spring or valving causing the stiff ride, can i put stock spring in with the new valving, I know the 06-07's came with the 4.9 spring, is it true new apex's have the 5.5 stock?What to do?

I have a 05 RX1 and it use to bottom out all the time. I had a local shock guy rebuild and revalve my shock, no spring change. Now it dosen't bottom out and ride good.
Maybe you would have been ok with just the shock job.

I have the 5.5 spring let you have cheap.

How aggressive,how do you push the machine,how do you ride?i have a (6.5) in mine and use it when the times get rough.when i jumped the banshee years back(now its a drag quad) i had it stiff valved/sprung cause of hard/high landings worked great.i weigh 185 wet,i know when it gets nasty or if i wanna jump the [ground shaker] it will take it to an extent.its ALL about you.i have riden on other APEXs and they all feel different.i also factor in gas ,ice,misc.6.5 works great for me...
