I was searching e-bay and ran across an aftermarket heat exchanger for the rx-1. Does you think that this would work on my sled.

If anyone is interested Yamaha has a new rear heat exchanger kit for the 121" sleds. We will be selling them for roughly $100 shipped. They come with an aluminum cooler similar to the one in the ebay add less the anodized colors. They also come with rivets and mounting instructions and should be available soon.

Rear Heat Exchanger RX-1
I just bought one of the aftermarket rear heat exchangers on e-bay. The guy replied to my inquirey and said these units are manufacured by a small company that makes areospace parts and they are aircraft aluminum and manufactured to those tolerences. Also, the unit was created with the aid of an autokad program what ever that means. I'll let you know the fit and finish with pictures. I sure wish it would get cold and snow so we wouldn't need to mess with this suff. Great site, thanks guys!!!
