so I ran two bottles of free through my warrior b/c of hard cold starts and I had low cold compression. now she starts better, but my plugs are constantly picking up carbon chunks. is there a way to avoid going through piles of plugs and maybe getting that chit out of there? I did change the oil after each session. thanks

You may have to use do the oil a couple times.
Go to cr10ek plugs way better for not fouling even the iridium plugs would be better for not fouling.

I can remember in Highschool shop we got about a cup of water.Got car warm, held about half throttle and slowly poured the water into the carb making sure the engine didnt stall. The carbon that came out of exhaust was unbelievable and cured engine pinging.Didnt hurt a thing.Just pour slowly and make sure motor doesnt stall while doing this.If it does it could be very bad. Also might want to do it outside since alot of carbon will come shooting out your exhaust.

cannondale can you tell us more?? ya! never know it is a fourstroke and old school does get lost.
You should not have to replace the cr10ek plugs for some time just clean them if you have but I dont think they are going to foul up near as bad as the stock ones.

Nothing more to tell. Its simple.Car we did it on was a F.I. Mustang that had lots of miles and never got over 30mph!Cleaned it right up.Have used same basic thing for 2strokes now that you mention it.Chainsaws and weedeaters.About half that dont run problem is a little screen over exhaust.Spark arrestor. It gets carboned up.Take it out heat it red hot with a torch and dip it into water.Comes out like new.No carbon left at all.Steam is very powerful and that is what removes the carbon better than anything.

Cup of water reminds me of a guy who tried this trick years ago. Problem was he poured the water in way to fast and hydro locked the motor. Bent rods are a real bummer!
Use spray bottle if attempting this old carbon cleaning trick.
