I've had my nytro xtx since 2012. It's getting older and i feel like its time for something new but i don't know even what to look at. There are so many things i like about the Nytro.
Anyone in the same boat looking to upgrade? If so, what are you looking at? I'm in the market for a crossover style sled.
Thanks

I'm going to at least a 137" Viper LTX / XTX if the right deal comes along.
Rode my buddy's for about 350 miles on all different type trails, really liked it.
Claims are its slower than a Nytro but I had back surgery this year & knowing it soaked up bumps very well + not in a real big hurry all day anymore.

I'm in a similar boat. Thinking about upgrading next year if the numbers work out and the right deal comes along. Hoping to test ride a few sleds yet this winter and see what I like and dislike. I'd really like to stick with a 4 stroke so I'm leaning towards a sidewinder but I need to do a lot of research before I spend 10-15 thousand on another toy.(it'll have to be a good used one) I'm tempted to go hope on a new doo too and see how much better they really do handle but I don't really want to go back to a 2 stroke. Their 4 stroke is a nice sled too but I always liked my nytro motor more then their 1200.

Ive thought about what I may go to next as well. Talked to a few Viper guys who like their machines. They say the handling is the biggest difference. But it"ll be a hard decision to move on for me. Love the 3 cyl Nytro motor, and have gotten use to the sled and it's handling quirks. Think I'll change tracks next yr from the 1.75 to a 1.6 and continue on for a few more years. I like the 900 Ace motor on the Doo...have a buddy who LOVES his, and is a great trail machine.

I've been looking at the sidewinder but my dealer wants 19k + taxes for the BTX. My dad has the viper XTX and it handles great but the fit and finish is far below the nytros. I was thinking about trying the doo 850 but then I'm back to a 2 stroke which doesn't excite me....

My next sled may be a Sidewinder but I will keep the old Nytro.

I switched 2 years ago to a Polaris axys pro s switchback.. The sled is absolutely so much better than everything I have own previously. 2 years and 1800mi I have only put gas, oil, and 1 set of carbides..

At this point my next Sled will more than likely be a viper. But I have my Nytro dialed in and it handles great. I did put 110 miles on a friends 600 renagade and the ride was great. Still thought my Nytro handled a bit better but that is probably just set ups. This summer I think I will stretch the Nytro to 136 tipped rails if I can find some and press on for a few more years.
