Does anyone know who makes better brake pads for these other than Cat?

No idea.
What do you mean by better? Quieter? Shorter stopping distance?
I tried cross referencing them at work. No luck.
Searched the internet and none of the part numbers on the pads matched anything posted on line.
Mine squeeled something awful.
I pulled them off threw them in the milling machine at work. Machined them flat and removed about .030 off each pad.
I put machined chamfers on both edges and cut a slot in them similar to what i saw on other high performance pads.
I put them back together with that orange crap that you use to prevent brake noise.
I have not used them yet so i honestly have no idea if anything i did will improve brake squeel.

Yes. The same squealing issue. Was just hoping to change them out and be done with them. Seems crazy that no one is making something better for these yet.

RTX that chamfer will pretty much eliminate squeeling. Worked on mine. I could not find aftermarket either. The AC race pads don't fit. I hate how piston digs into the pad backing plate. Was thinking about making a thin shim for back out of stainless or some hardened shim.

Great minds think alike. Lol
I brought home some .015 stainless shims from work.
After butchering them with a pair of tin snips i threw in the towel and put it all back together with that orange anti squeel crap. Lol

Ha! I tried tin snips too. No go. Thinking laser or even Plasma will do it. Just have to make a program.Great minds think alike. Lol
