After tons of fiddling with the carbs while installing updated bowls,k+ns,mains pilots etc.I have discovered the potential for some air leaks where the carbs go into the boots.Once the air box is removed some guys have reported that their carbs are falling out on rough terrain and jumps due to the fact that they are no longer supporrted by the air box. While working on my own I realized that the clamps couldn't be tightened as much as I wanted due to the ferrules that are on the clamp screw. With the clamps tightened all the way I grabbed the rack of carbs and pulled up and down.It was obvious that the carbs were sliding in and out of the boots even with the clamps tight. My fix was to remove each ferrule and grind to half then reinstall. The result was a better seal and no movement in and out of the boot with the clamps tight. Also installed a rubber bumper between top of battery box and carb rack to help with support.I'm seeing alot of posts regarding carb tuning, filters, etc. Some of you have got to be trying to tune out this air leak with out realizing it.Thought this might help somebody...

Yes kit i started to take material off the spacer too,but decided to just remove them for now,and support the rack of carbs, with no more problems. ![Stick Out Tongue :p :p](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
