Anyone tried one of these on an Attak? I have to do something other than the re-valve & shock or go to a different sled. Their video looks very compelling...

Yamadog1 has one also. He had it installed last winter and hasn't had much seat time with it but so far he is very pleased. I've ridden his sled down a pretty rought seciton of trail and it is pretty impressive.

I just finished installing an Airwave Diamond 136" in my 07 RTX. I haven't ridden yet but have high hopes. The thing looks awesome!. Mr Sled has been extremely helpful with advise and information. The most difficult thing was running the airline to the compressor, switch, and guage. Measure twice and think ahead during the installation of ALL the components. PM me if you need any info on my experience with the install. Also read Mr Sled's ride review. ;)! :rocks:

m 20

I have a ZX2 and love it .I would take a hard look at both of them and look at the moving parts and what could break or ice up. I haven't seen the M20 but I know one thing is for sure that either one is way better than the stock junk. any thing that I did to the stock suspension was like putting perfume on a pig. I have a revalved ohlins electronic by Pioneer and new transfer rod that I would sell both cheep. The only thing is, that when you put one of these two on, you will say man I wish I would have done it sooner. It is now a awesome sled.

While the Team Fast Skids are excellent, all that video shows is how badly set up the stock mono shock is. It also shows extremely well why there are so many broken parts.

Does not matter how well set up the mono is. It can not be transformed into a falling rate suspension like an m 10 or m20.

What is the difference between the M10 airwave and M20 airwave?

The monoshock is a falling rate, that's why it crashes through the travel so easily. The progressive dampening system works so well on it because it keeps some of the benefits of the falling rate while giving bump ability when the secondary piston enters into the picture.

I'll speculate the M20 works well because the air shocks ramp up and counter the falling rate more effectively than the dual rate springs on the older M10 design. Heck, the Mega Float Mono probably gains some of those benfits, too. How's the transfer on the M20? The M10 was hard to get much, and if you did, the skid did not perform well in other areas.

While I've not yet gotten enough miles in for a seperate thread on this, so far I am very, very pleased with the Progressive Damp System in my Ohlins EC Mono. Seems to really, really help with past Mono issues. So far it's performing for me like a whole new beast through the bumps.

But if a guy wanted to change skids, and wanted an air ride skid, then the M20 would be a good skid I believe.

There is an "M-10 Air" and an "M-20 Airwave". The M-20 has a broader range of performance (larger more efficient air-spring) and a little higher price.
