yamahatd said:I agree Mr Sled but the compressor was marketed as the "on the fly'' adjustment, not the make up air for the bleed down. an air system will be prone to leaking and i hope to minimize it. Mine was bleeding down 10psi a day when I brought to the dealer. I hope it was a simple fix, I will update the post when I find out.
I am looking forward to riding the platinum spec
Keep us posted on where the leaks were and how you fixed or minimized the problems.
The leak was narrowed down to the tunnel fitting. The airline connection threads appear to be damaged. The mechanic is tring some sealants while it is there. I will pick up this week and if needed I will replace it.
He also told me the doughnuts looked mint but installed the copper ones as requested along with new CR10 plugs. Hope it snows soon, getting itchy!!!!

Airwave pics- On the fly adjustment in the middle and gauge on the right
I have a slow air leak too, and used the fitting shown, but still leaks, I have lived with it . MUST be at the pump or the gauge.

I like the location of the guage and switch Ronder. The Apex layout does not allow that set up. The airwave will always leak some due to the design with so many connections there is always a week point. I plan to pick up my sled tomorrow and will check out the fitting in question.
I have my sled in the garage and removed the fitting at the tunnel to replace it. I installed a fitting that allows me to fill the rear air bag with a standard automotive type pump, either a compressor or portable 12V emergency unit. My question is how often do any of us adjust the pressure or do you set it and forget it and should I eliminate the leaky switch and guage?

I change air pressure setting to trail conditions. could be 4 or 5 times a day. buy a new switch. truck seat's have the same switch. Try boss seats for truck or buy a switch from fast for 50 buck's.

found a switch at www.seat-specialists.com part #73091-000 38.19 knoedler electric. go to knoendler service parts.
the switch was new when I installed it last year. I had to order the fitting from fast, my local shope could not come up with anything close no matter what fittings we used. $20 plus shipping....very reasonable and they called me back the same day.
I will say TeamFast has been awesome!!!
thanks for the link Smoothride.....
