Didn't about it. Might be just motorcycles. All I've ever seen. Except for Irondog haven't heard of any sled racing.

Well my brother Roy and his son Kris moved up to Alaska this summer, looking for work. Roy took Kris's FX Nytro up there to. So the last few weeks Kris has been practiceing on the Nytro. :exc: Kris is sponsored by Performance Yamaha, Wasilla, AK.. My other brother Doran and his son Josh moved up there to. Josh will be going to the races, with Roy an Kris, taking pictures and video's this winter. Sunday there was a race on BIg Lake. This is what Josh put on his FaceBook Page, about the race............................................................................................................................................................................................................................. BIG LAKE RACE RESULTS !!!!!! 3:05am
Well the day started off at a chilli 12 below. A heat wave compaired to yesterday. The rules up here are a little different, but Kristopher adpated very well. After a clean sweep off the heat races, the Alaskans were woundering what the he** just happened. Kris entered the finals undefeated. First up was the 600 PRO Class. Kris got an ok hole shot and it was a race to turn 1. When the snow dust cleared all three sleds were trading paint and heading into the lamans section, Kris managed to get passed the #21 sled and was realing in the #8 sled of Bill Wilkes. By the time they came back around Kris was pushing Bills pumper down the straight away. Neck and Neck they ran back through the laman section and Kris was gaining. But in an effort to set Bill up for a pass the sled catch a rut and sent the Nytro and Kris into the berm and off the track. Kris recovered like a pro and finished the race, but ended up third. It was some of the best racing Ive ever seen.
Next up was the Open Class. This was a class open to all sleds up to a 1000 cc. Well Kris didnt get the greatest hole shot but the outcome was a little different this time. Wow, Thats what you call a man on a mission. Kris took this race by 20 or more sled lengths. "This kid has talent" was the word on the track. Nice Job this weekend Kris and I know Im looking forward to the rest of the season. Thanks for taking Eichenberg Racing to the TOP.
