Not as of August 09. Don't spend to much time looking; just email Rockmeister. He sells HEAT!

Yamaha shot me down on a fix for my 09 XTX at the beggining of November. Told me they will take $50.00 off of a update kit. It would still cost me $ 100.00 for that. I would rather give my $$$$$ to Rockmeister for his kit

I foamed my bars last year and it helped a lot. Mine are now fine down to around zero degrees f. Mine is an 08.

Foaming the bars won't help? I didn't need three semesters of heat transfer and thermodynamics to figure that one out.
Thanks for putting a fork in this idea. It's done.
yup be better of to foam your gloves lol

Yeah! I tried the foam thing and noticed no difference what so ever in the heat of the grips but did notice less vibration in the bars...When I complained to my dealer about the lack of heat in the grips and asked if there was anything I could do they said, and I quote, "yup the grips stink and it's the nature of the beast." WTF? I suppose the overheating in marginal snow is the nature of the beast to.

Hand Warmers
I just put the 59 miles on my 2011 Nytro and the hand warmers seem to work much better than they did on my 2008. It's been warm out so I haven't gotten to REALLY test them so I can't confirm that they've been improved yet.

Re: Hand Warmers
They can be very misleading, as mine will often get hot enough to burn my hands, but there's a number of issues I have with the handwarmers.
First, the ridiculous controls. I don't know what engineer thought it would be a good idea to make people take their eyes off the trail and stare done at a little gauge on a snow covered dash board to adjust their warmers, but he should be fired.
Second, I don't understand why when I leave from home on a ride my hands are burning off after 10 minutes, but if I stop for a break anywhere during the day, the warrmers never seem to get warm again. You should be able to warm up the bars while the machine is idling, so you don't have to set off with cold hands and cold bars.

Yep ^^^^ what he said. 2011's seem to work great. I have been on some long rides on COLD days and the hand warmers do get hot...it just takes a while.

This made me chuckle as my dealer said the same #*$&@, what annoys me the most is this and my point will come across. i jumped from a 1 year old ski doo mxzx with all the bells and whistles to a sled which cost a lot of money and you can quote me on this...billymx815 said:Yeah! 1 the 1st ride almost scared me to death with large tank slapping extreme darting after closing the throttle
2 after handling is worked out the front end is slacker than $10 whore
3 still freezing hands but told to get better gloves lol
4hyfaxs after hyfaxs etc etc
5 did i mention the over heating issues? my dealer told me to ride quicker, is he kin kidding me i ride at warp speed now lol.
so my point is this its certainly not intended for what it was pushed for and i am so sick of working on my sled to keep it just in normal working order that next season i am done i am jumping brands to probally a polaris switchback assault. my original 1 yr old ski doo i beat it with no merci and it never needed a single wrench.
At the moment its sitting in my garage with right grip removed awaiting a new element i ask myself whats the point they suck anyways lol
now the other idea which is on my mind would be to buy a c3 carbon fibre chassis kit as the engine is the best i will say that at least

I went with the Yamaheaters. They're pricey but they work great!

I agree with the above. The grips on my 2011 nytro mtx work great. Went out the other morning it was 0 degrees and my hands never got cold. My 09 xtx would have froze my hands at 0 degrees. That is until I put a yamaheater on it.
