alpine fuel tank

Just wondering how many litres of fuel the tanks that have been made for the powderlites front mount turbo hold. My sled seemed to be out of fuel and 20 litres filled it to the top. Could it not be sucking fuel from the bottom of the tank? The fuel gauge wasnt working niether and I dipped it and it seemed empty as well. Its on a apex.

Fuel hose is interfeering with gauge sender... I ran brass pipes
inside of tank to clear gauge floats...Direct hose on left-rear of tank...
