I got a 2017 XTX, i was playing around with the settings on our cluster, it lets me change altitude. Does his affect engine performance or is it just visual for me? I can increase or decrease it. havent noticed any performance change but curious. If i go wide open it changes on its own but only +/- 10 or so from what i set it from. any thoughts? also is this in Feet or Meters?

When I first read your post I thought maybe you were talking to my Wife. She thinks I need an attitude adjustment at times.I got a 2017 XTX, i was playing around with the settings on our cluster, it lets me change altitude. As far as the adjustment on you gauge I think that is for information purposes only and has nothing to do with the engine. They recommend if you know the altitude you are at then you should set it on your gauge. You may have to reset it every time you lose power to the gauge just like your clock but I'm not sure about that.
