Had a couple buddies come down and ride today, we did 100 miles on the Clay Co trails outside Moorhead. The first 35 miles weren't groomed and there was some hard finger drifts and whooped out sections. The rest of the ride was really nice, had a great day. Our one fuel stop I used exactly the same amount of gas as my buddies new 800e tech, neither of us did very good at 11mpg. I am having the warm starting issue almost every time we stop. Have to blip the throttle a little and it fires right up. It almost acts like it's flooded a little bit IMO, hope they get a fix for this . Still haven't touched any of my suspension settings and to be honest I'm not sure if I will. It seems really good the way it is, only thing is I think I could use maybe a little more ski pressure but I don't want to take any weight transfer away. Might lighten the center shock a little bit, might just get a better set of carbides as I am still running the stockers. In the twistier sections of trail I had a blast and I used to hate those sections on my Nytro. It's just so easy to ride and begs to be ridden hard but I do have a little bit of push. I have 131miles on it now and it seems much more lively then it did on my first ride. There is a mile section headed back to the trail head that is smooth, straight and flat. I held it open for a bit and am seeing 8600-8750 rpm and I let off at 95 Mph, it wasn't done. Feels very snappy and I love the sound. My friends asked if I had a can on it, I too am a little surprised how loud it is for stock. All in all I love it. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much on my ride.

I deleted my shock oil thread by the way, my buddy spilled a little two stroke oil on the trailer this morning.

500 miles on mine after today, very impressive in the rough stuff.

Awesome to hear! I love mine as well best riding sled I've owned ,I can ride this sled all day and feel no pain.

Deer hunter move your coupler blocks to 2 it will help the push and still lift skis when you want. I don't get the hard start. Sometimes when warm mine doesn't fire right away and I just stop cranking let tach go back to o and crank again. Always started within 2 try's. I never crank it more the a 3 count. Hope if yours is a issue they get it fixed. But Glad you are as happy as I am!

Thanks for the advice Cannondale, I will give it a try next time I go out. Allot easier to turn the coupling blocks then mess with the limiter strap , I will start there! Loving it more every time I go out but finding it hard to keep the reigns pulled in and ride conservative. Had one of the guys with on a new Doo Backcountry fall off in the twisties trying to keep up and I wasn't riding that hard, I felt kinda bad. Now I don't know the guy at all so I'm not sure if that's normal for him or not but he said he was impressed that a four stroke can handle like that and I smiled and said I was too! It has been me who felt like I was going to fall off in the twisties since I got the Nytro in 09 but not anymore! Had a good friend of mine buy a backcountry X as well and he didn't have any trouble trying to keep up so I am sure it was riding error on the other guys part, that is a gorgeous Sled. Love the orange and white! :sled1:
