Another no start/no power

I found a total of 6 square grounding blocks and two flat grounding blocks. Of those square blocks, two are the ones above the primary clutch but there are three more further down the wire harness that goes into the nose and near the ECU. There was also one on the passenger side near the fuse box. On my Apex, there was also a flat ground block with the two blocks above the primary and another one with the three further down in the nose.
 

Ok, since gauges used to light up then there is still something not providing power. When you checked the grounding blocks, did you confirm all of them? Here's a post I created where I found a total of 6 on my 08 Apex and provide pictures.
No I have not. I just soldered the two by the clutch as I noticed they were the common ones with issues.



When you say 6, do you mean all 6 are white with black caps? Or are those black little boxes considered a ground issue as well? The little box by the starter relay was good and so were the two other ones up the harness. But I haven’t dug out the ones by the nose of the sled yet, I’m hoping they are the issue.

Yes, there were a total of 6 white square grounding blocks like the ones in your picture as well as two little ones as you refer to them or flat ones as I call them. Unless your Apex is different, then I suspect you will find three more down in the nose by the ECU and another one by the fuse box along with another little one with the three square ones in the nose.

So is it recommended to just solder all the flat black ones too? Even though they look fine…
I’ve got them all exposed now…a few of those ground blocks are corroded.

You are in the right place. You are exactly where I was in 2015. I have two sleds with a total of 24k kms on them and I've done all the maintenance , mods and repairs. There is always someone around who can shed some light on your situation.
 
So I got a new starter and I still couldn’t get it to crank with my battery even though it was reading around 12.2 volts. So i took jumper cables off my truck and hooked it up to the new starter…boom she worked. Immediately I bought a new battery. New battery reads 12.7…..so apparently you can’t crank a starter with only 12volts? Maybe it had some dead cells, I dunno. But I got my sled running in an hour.

Nope. If it is sitting at 12.2 volts all you are seeing is unloaded voltage potential, the cells (plates) have no capacity left. I bet if you read the voltage on that battery while you are trying to crank with it, it will show less than 10v. Not enough. the new battery was the right solution.
 
I've had mice chew through the wiring going to the rectifier located in the nose of the sled. That happened two years in a row. it was an easy splice job thankfully.
