- 2009 Yamaha FX NYTRO XTX 1.75
I came across a GYTR R6 shorty slip on and was wondering if it would be a good choice to do an under tunnel on my XTX? The reason I'm asking is because I have an under tunnel and a 1.75 Back Country and I get some rubbing on the exhaust.

Should work.
I bought an 8" Cherry-bomb with eh intention of doing the same thing, but haven't gotten around to puttin git on yet. It's going to be loud, there's no doubt about that.

Sure it'll work...but it will be very loud. The Custom Sledshop did a Nytro a few years back and used that exact muffler..a friend of mine who knows Jon from the shop said when they fired it up it was crazy loud, needless to say when the sled hit the trails the muffler had been changed to a longer Hindle bike version. That GYTR muffler when on a bike is used in conjunction with another type of myffler that sits at the bottom of the bike..by itself it would wake the dead. If noise isnt an issue where you ride then you are fine. You may also want to keep in mind that there is no restriciton with that muffler, so you will lean out big time somewhere in the rpm range...you would want a fuel controller with a custom map to be safe.
