My Vector constantly ratchets in the powder even when really tight. Are Anti ratchet drivers the answer to my problem?

do i need 9t or 8t 1" or 1 1/16"?

Rather than changing the drivers to HIDE the problem, you should try to figure out WHY it is ratcheting and CORRECT it. Usually caused by one of the following;

poor adjustment, ie transfer set too high, spring too loose, etc.,
worn bushings, particularly on the front arm,
damaged component, particularly CRACK on the front arm.

the front arms is brand new and has new bushings and my transfer is low.

9 t ratchet's.Not sure on axle size I got mine from rich motorsports

Not that hard, you have to remove the drive axle press off the old drivers and press on the new ones. But make sure you take good measurements to ensure proper alignment of the new drivers. The biggest advantage you will see minus the ratcheting is you can run your track loose and we all know that loose is fast. This is by no means hiding the problem it is reparing a problem Yamaha didnt address, My brothers Apex will ratchet where you get good bite or in loose snow, so they still havent addressed this concern yet. Ive owned alot of sleds over the years and yammy is the only one Ive experienced a problem with (not really a problem just needed a little tlc) Dont get me wrong I'd have to pretty desperate to ride anything else, I'm YAMAHA to the bone, All designs can be improved on by gearheads with a little time on their hands faster than ENGINEERS will ever get to it.
