Whoa!! Ease up. Never said the Apex was junk. I said I was over it and the chassis no longer met my wants. Ride whatever you want, who cares? What ever! My wife and I will still ride our over 20,000 mile junk all Yamaha Apex's!

I remember buying my first Sidewinder, a 2017 RTX, late in the year.Cat didn't get it right till 2017.
After about 80 miles I got off it, looked at my friend and said" I cannot believe you can buy this much power off the showroom floor!!"
It was that impressive to me compared to what was on the market at that time.
To me, it still impresses.
We asked this question 2 years ago to some Cat engineers at the big grass drag event in New Hampshire. They insinuated they had two versions of a twin four stroke to fit in the Catalyst chassis, one NA and one turbo. Time will tell I guess. Also it's going to be really interesting to see if cat builds their own four stroke twin. They apparently had a design for it.
I do agree having Brad Darling at the helm is a VERY good sign.

Profit margins.

I've lived in that world so, yes, profits are king.

Yup, rule #1 in business is to make money. There are no successful "non-profit" companies in the snomo business.
