I have been told that the 128's ride better with the Mono II skid

Handling is about the same, you would never know you are on a 144'' that the XTX offers. The 128 has a much softer ride and better weight transfer.

I disagree to this one...at leadt for me....the xtx skid feels way longer as soon as you are in snow of depth and especially when it gets twisty....the xtx rides stiff....about the only areas where it is better is off trail and hookup

i disagree. the XTX rides just fine on the trails if you set it up, a little push in the real tight corners but not much. it all depends on how you set it up. you can add a lot of weight to the front to get it to corner with the EPS and with the tuner skies it works great. i can now keep up to my son on the SRX no problems. just my 2 cents

Agreed. I rode them all before I decided to go with the XTX. The guys I ride with that have SE's and Standards prefer the XTX as well. There is definitely overlap between the ride quality and handling between the models. It's all in the set-up and skis.

However, there are advantages that can not be argued with the CK skid and 16" longer track- more lugs in the snow, better bump bridging, and can take more of a beating in the really rough stuff especially if you are a heavier rider. I also feel the XTX is better balanced due to the longer track and length.

It's also .87mph faster if that matters.
