Well, whats the scoop from the Moose?

It was a turbo shootout at the end. There was a supercharger and a fast f1ooo also at the end. It came down to a full power turbo and a simmons with a little kid driving it. The simmons won by a sled at 117 at 1000 feet in slush. The simmons won 2 out of three against the justins full power. VERY fun to watch at the finish line.
Cool, hope the guys from the site represented.

thanks to aj and his dad for putting that show on. the f1000 is mine it is a sherlock stage 2 package on pump gas, jeff did a great job on this motor and i was very happy with the outcome today for a twin 1000 all motor to run right next 4 cylinder with tubo and superchargers is just amazing. i need alittle more fine tuning for that evelation and the sled will be crazy fast.

congrat to the top dogs!!!! I just spoke to aj & art(brother & father) and they were pleased with the turn out and very impressed with the sleds. I wish I could have been there. to represent a mach z. but there is next year.
So, who were the top dogs? Big Firecat and who else?

Funny, no matter what the rules determined before hand, someone always complains after the fact. Judging by those conditions, that Kliens sled may have been better off with a heavier rider. Not alot of talk about yesterday? Were the conditions that bad?

A Great idea having a minor (un-insured for the condtions)drive your 130+mph sled in a un -supervised,un-sactioned , un-insured, advertised,speed contest on a NYS lake,. Im sure all principles involved publicly (owner excluded ) were acutely aware of the horrific liability and PR storm that would ensue if a 14 year old minor was involved in incident that involved another (over 18 yr. old) operator,..would that be terrible beyond words.?

The 1st place winner was Mike Wolfe with a CPR Turbo, stacked gaskets and his son running the sled.
2nd place was Mark Tangas stage 2 or 3 Full Power Rear Mount, and that sled is really fast.
3rd place was another CPR attak and that guys name is Tom, same sled as mike wolfes.
4th place was vince and his F1000. On pure Ice this sled would have taken it all. Good running arctic.
5th place was a S/C didn't get his info or details on the sled.
6th was myself, CPR attak.
Total Track was about 800 to 900. Visiblilty sucked and couple guys didn't want to run the full 1000. We moved the line up twice about 50 ft total due to Slush.
