i was riding in about -20 c today and busting lots of banks,at the endof the daymy sled would puke at half throttle, nothing over 7000 rpm,i was only 5 miles from home so i limped back, stuck it in the shop and let it idle for about 5 min. and then took it out for a small rip around the yard, it was fine, what could it of been?there was alot of snow and ice built up on the fuel pumps, could they have froze up?

Plugs were slightly fouled, lots of condensation at that temp in a hot sled busting banks.
If it were a 2-stroke you would have to change the plugs.

I would guess snow dust in the air filter, I've heard of this happening when guys are doing alot of powder riding. I dont think you would get condensation on plugs on a running motor :?:

Had the same problem.....answer???
Gas Line Antifreeze....you probably had water in your fuel or frozen in your carbs. Happened to me in exaxctly the same temps and conditions. I pulled over and threw a 1/2 bottle of anitfreeze in the tank and after 5 mins of letting it circulate it never happened again.
PS. My airbox was also pretty iced up but it did not affect performance after the GLA.
