Any reason not to pick up an 07 venture lite

I just sold my three 2–stroke sleds and two 10’ enclosed trailers.

Had to pull the Phazer out of one of them. Was very impressed how quickly and easily it started up – with virtually NO SMOKE! Just turned the key cranked over nicely and ran great. Backed it out onto the lawn and said adios to the old sleds and trailers. My Venture Lite has been under cover behind the shed all summer. It’s now time to turn my big v-nose trailer from a portable bike garage into a portable sled garage and move the Phazer and VL into their new home.

In order to not dig up the lawn TOO much I just ordered a set of these sled wheels.

I’ve seen them in use at a local dealer and they appear to work well for moving sleds around under their own power.

Already thinking snow… but hunting season will have to do. ;)

Tried these little buggers out today - they work GREAT as long as you stay slow and steady on the gas. I goosed the VL a little and they went out of place (and did a little - ok, a lot - of damage to the grass ;). On the pavement they work fantastic. Ran right up the ramp to the enclosed trailer - no problem.

The GT and the VL filled up more of my 16' + 4' v nose full width trailer than I'd expected - certainly no room for a third sled in there - which is fine for me.

Well I finally picked up an 07 venture lite last week. Its sitting in the garage waiting for snow. Thanks for all your reviews and input last year it definitely help me decide on the venture lite. Hoping I can give my own review soon.

Swiler, what pattern did you use on the venture lite studs? I am about to stud a 2007 venture lite now and am thinking about the V.

Solution to the problem with these is to raise the sides up enough so that you can put a solid pin (long bolt with cotter pin in the end) through the ski tower instead of the wire strap over the ski .. then no matter if you go forward or reverse the wheels stay in place. If you are handy with a wielder you can make a set easily.
