If you are going to polish use the purple polish from www.californiacustom.com It very easy to use & has a sealer in it wich makes bring the luster back no problem. After using it for three years I can do a tunnel in 10-15 min or 1-2 beers. Most of the time you find the Purple Polish @ truck stops..... Most truckers do their fuel tanks & wheels with it. Use the green acid wash if whatever you are polishing is nasty...... Makes it much faster. Possably could use a Mothers Powerball on the running boards to speed things up even more....

Flitz polishing ball works good and holds up well even on the sharp edges of the traction diamonds on the running boards. It's done its second sled and will last to at least a third.
